How would you finish the following statement? “I would love the ability to . . . ” It’s kind of the grown up version of “If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?” As much as I envy Wonder Woman her ability to simply spin herself out of one outfit and into another (and her ability to look AMAZING in any outfit!), that just doesn’t seem to be as big a priority to me as it might have years ago.
I can think of a few ways to end the statement mentioned above.
I would love the ability to make myself clearly understood by all those I love. It would speed up conversations and completely avoid conflict if there were never misunderstandings.
I would love the ability to make the perfect decision in every single situation. Of course, that would mean I might not learn some lessons that I have come to value.
I would love the ability to forgive AND forget. How much healthier would we all be if we could put aside the hurts and fears that we have from moments in our past when others wronged us?
I would love the ability to find the good in every single situation.
Most of all, I would love the ability to love my family perfectly, touching each of them in a way that uniquely meets their needs.
What about you?
